Although the shop isn’t slated to open until June 2012, the forthcoming California-based, PYS.com-backed retailer, BAIT, has given Sneaker Freaker, an exclusive look at its forthcoming “Rings” Sneaker Pack with heavyweight ASICS. As the title and colorways imply, the footwear range is themed after the spirit of the London Olympic Games. Initially previewed in just a yellow look,  the collection arrives in a comprehensive quintet of colored GT-II sneakers — each donning an Olympic hue. The appropriations make heavy use of color blocking and 3M to display a technically thought out runner that is more than capable for sneakerhead aficionados who may actually prefer putting them on ice as opposed to the track. While Nash Bedouin was in Dubai for the Sole DXB sneaker summit, he took it upon himself to craft a custom pair of sneakers that reference a multitude of different inspirations. Starting with a New Balance sole, evidently chosen for its history of support and comfort, he then added the famous visvim FBT upper to make the shoe have a distinct and unique juxtaposition of styles. For the fabric, Bedouin found inspiration in the local markets of Satwa, resulting in a fabric choice that is both geometric and colorful in nature. Overall, the Sole DXB x NASHMONEY 2012 “The Bedouin” is truly a one of a kind sneaker that reflects the creativity and style of its creator.

Newly available from California skate retailer HUF , is the brand’s “Fuck It” pack. A continuation of the caps that debuted in January, the collection features both an adjustable 5-panel snapback and cotton twill bucket hat in Granite Camo, Tiger Camo and Sahara Camo colorways with “Fuck It” embroidered logo patches. Both styles are available now from HUF’s online store with the snapback and bucket hat retailing for $34 USD and $40 USD, respectively.
